There are big, threatening clouds and your car is parked outside because you do not have a garage. Then it starts to hail heavily, and everyone hopes the car will survive this storm. However, you can watch the spectacle with peace of mind as your car is completely protected from hail damages by the full hail protection cover.

Fully padded for optimal hail protection

The full hail protection cover is completely upholstered with a 4 mm thick neoprene foam layer. This absorbs the impact of the hail very well, whereby the hood, the roof, the boot and the side panels are well protected against hailstorm. In total the cover for the whole car has a thickness of about 5 mm.The product is water-repellent and has a fleece on the inside that is gentle on the paintwork. There are four reflectors on the outside and the ultra-orange tapes add visibility. In addition, there are two ventilation openings to ensure good ventilation.

Easy installation

The cover is manufactured in five different sizes and is relatively easy to install with elastic seams. Attach the full hail protection cover with the sewn-in arrow to the front on the bottom of the car with the attached snap fasteners. Mount the full hail protection cover only on parked vehicles in non-public traffic areas and remove it immediately after the storm is over.

Attach the cover to the underside of the car with the sewn-in arrow pointing forwards, using the snap fasteners and firmly pull the straps.
Why should the hail protection cover be removed after a thunderstorm?
If the cover remains on the vehicle for a prolonged period of time, moisture can form underneath, which can significantly reduce the lifetime of the cover. We recommend removing the cover after the thunderstorm has passed and drying it thoroughly before using it again.

Please note: Our hail protection covers are not UV-resistant. Direct UV radiation damages the cover and reduces the lifetime of the cover. Therefore, please remove it after use and do not leave it on the vehicle permanently!

Gutes Produkt mit Verbesserungspotenzial

Die Plane an sich ist qualitativ recht gut. Die Montage ist auch alleine zu bewerkstelligen. Für meinen BMW e63 erscheint sie mir allerdings etwas zu groß, die serienmäßigen Spanngurte vorne und hinten sind zu lang um sie straff zu ziehen. Dazu müsste man unters Auto. Bei starkem Wind neigt die Plane zu verrutschen und die Lüftungsklappen sind teilweise offen, dadurch kann Wasser / Feuchtigkeit eindringen. Ein Klettverschluß oder ein Druckknopf wäre ideal. Ich habe zusätzlich einen Spanngurt in der Mitte des Fahrzeugs um das Fahrzeug gelegt und nun ist Ruhe. Wäre der 3. Spanngurt im Kaufpreis inbegriffen und die Lüftungsklappen verschließbar würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Sie ist aber auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl.
